Magnesium & Iodine ~Again, but more important NOW

Says…about Magnesium

For purposes of cellular detoxification and tissue purification, the most effective form of magnesium is magnesium chloride, which has a strong excretory effect on toxins and stagnant energies stuck in the tissues of the body, drawing them out through the pores of the skin. Chloride is required to produce a large quantity of gastric acid each day and is also needed to stimulate starch-digesting enzymes.

In addition to its functions as an electrolyte, chloride combines with hydrogen in the stomach to make hydrochloric acid, a powerful digestive enzyme that is responsible for the breakdown of proteins, absorption of other metallic minerals, and activation of intrinsic factor, which in turn absorbs vitamin B12.

Magnesium is an important part of the iodine treatment plan. Magnesium deficiency is very common. Magnesium is nature’s relaxing agent. Magnesium levels (via red blood cell magnesium levels) should be assessed and supplementation instituted. Magnesium supplementation will likely ensure optimal results with iodine.”

Anyone who tells you to stay away from iodine is a medical idiot. Actually that statement does not cover the story of medical cruelty and the pharmaceutical terrorism that is centered on iodine phobia that is rampant in the medical world today. One of my neighbors, who has cancer, recently visited the Gerson Clinic in Mexico and came back with a protocol suggesting one drop of Lugol’s a day.[1] I of course have him taking much more.

Dr. Gabriel Cousens recently wrote, “Recently Dr. Mercola surprisingly stated that the highest amount of daily iodine intake should be no more than 400 micrograms. This is only slightly higher than the FDA recommendation, which is 150-290 micrograms daily, dependent upon age, gender and life cycle. However, it is dramatically less than what some of the leading iodine medical experts suggest, as closer to, at least, 12-18 milligrams daily, approximately 45 times higher. Why this discrepancy? And how can Dr. Mercola, who is often so correct in his understanding, in my opinion, miss the mark exponentially?”

Cousens states, “Historically, as early as 1911, people normally took between 300,000-900,000 micrograms daily without incident. This is over 2,000 times more than Dr. Mercola’s recommendation. How is it that now only 1/5,000th of this dose is now considered safe? In 1948 there was a poorly performed and, since then, never replicated study alleging what is known as the Wolff-Chaikoff effect. The Wolff-Chaikoff effect suggested that theoretically hypothyroidism could occur as a result of excess iodine. This study indicated a decreased dosage to 2 milligrams daily would be safer. (This is still an amount 5 times higher than what Dr. Mercola is recommending.) Even the Food and Nutritional Board at the Institute of Medicine has set the tolerable upper limit of 1,100 micrograms of iodine daily (3 times higher than Dr. Mercola’s recommendation). Other researchers have used between 3,000 and 6,000 micrograms/day to prevent goiter (14 times higher than Dr. Mercola’s recommendation). Iodine is found in every single one of our body’s hundred trillion cells. Without adequate iodine levels life is impossible. Iodine is the universal health nutrient and brings health on many levels.”

Allow the Sun to RISE in your LIFE by 1) letting go 2) changing some habits 3) smiling more, especially if you don’t FEEL like it.  Amazing when we do and our body and mind follow suit.

Now these may sound easy, but seem difficult to effect CHANGE.  Change is what I see is needed NOW, more than ever.  WHY?  cuz we’ve been asleep for a long while and in waking up, like a dog, gets up and shakes off whatever is not needed.  hmmm, follow Nature’s cues?

We have been Juicing and letting go for awhile now, to get clearer and to raise our vibration, in order to FEEL better with the changing energy in our World.  Guess what?  It’s working.  For me, it wasn’t easy sometimes, but I persevered through the hardest moments and NOW, so happy that I did.

Simple Foods to get into your body – CHIA SEED & ALOE VERA

After traveling for almost a year into 3 countries in Southern Hemisphere, well, NZ, was very short, but Australia and New Caledonia taught me a lot – – My focus was food.  Where does it come from, how good is it, and ‘what works and what doesn’t’ for our Optimum Health today.

I had a kidney stone at the end of my journey – painful as hell – I was in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by 25 year old Aloe Vera plants.

I peeled them and put them into blender and drank only that for two days.  Pain gone.  Amazing.  I figured this amazing plant would help due to its consistency and lubricate my kidneys, by reducing any inflammation. It truly is a miracle plant – – always have some growing and keep planting it.  It can be used for so many things – just Google it.

My next favorite food product that we harvested in Australia while I was Woofing at the Permaculture Institute of Australia – – is the CHIA SEED.  Another miracle food.  It is one of the best diet stuffs due to how it curbs appetites from its very gel like consistency that fills you up.  Follow the LINK below for more info…


Try putting chia seeds mixed with raw chocolate and make puddings.  There are many recipes online for this.  Use the keywords of ‘chia’ and ‘raw food recipes’.

My journey about FOOD, taught me that NOT everyone realizes there is a problem.  Farmers are committing suicide in Australia after losing their family lands or not being able to keep up due to either being ruined by all the gas mining they are doing that is ruining the water table there or the banks are killing them.

One thing that impressed me in a large city like Sydney, was the amount of GREEN WASTE they gather – everybody contributes and it all goes to the same place, making for the biggest compost pile i’ve ever seen.  The steam is incredible, and a bulldozer is continually turning it.  They’ve even created a recycling center school and garden right in the middle of the ‘dump’, the rubbish ‘tip’.  YAH !

Did you know that the pesticides from the veggies we buy at the grocery store get stored up in our fat and in our brain so over time we start to exhibit strange behaviors which are exactly what the TV commercials play up to in offering the so called answer in the form of a pill.  Gee, are we really in control anymore, if that’s the case?  Well, not if I can help it !!

Moringa is my fave new plant.  it has the highest quality ingredients of anything green, that i’ve found.  just google that name and see what i mean, for instance….
